Work from home strategies, experience, advice at JP Family Church in January

This Tuesday begins a new season for a wonderful women's group in Rogers, MN at Jesus People Family Church (JP Family). Their focus for January will be on WORK FROM HOME, WORK AT HOME, being a mom, being a woman, earning an income, DIRECT SALES, NETWORKING, and related topics.

I appreciate the invitation from Pastor Janine Bear to get involved, learn, share, and grow.

Come to the January 29th EXPO at JP Family Church where you can see, touch, feel, hear, listen, connect, and learn about WORK FROM HOME opportunities.

FYI:
My personal two favorite companies that offer a real opportunity with very little up front investment are Send Out Cards (www.SendOutCards.com/YourRegards) and Melaleuca (write to me at YourMORE at Gmail dot com and visit www.Melaleuca.com)
...BECAUSE OF THE INTEGRITY OF THESE TWO COMPANIES.

Truth, Trust, Ethics, Foundations for Success

A businessman I met last year talked to me about "Truth Produces Trust" (more on that in upcoming blogs where I'll give links to his website and full credit for his writings). I'm reading a book right now called "The Speed of Trust" by Stephen M. R. Covey (next generation Covey stuff!) that is equipping me with real tools to increase my trustworthiness as a person, a business coach, a citizen, a mother, etc.

Yesterday I came across a Business Ethics Pledge, and I took the pledge. I hope you will too. I'll post about that shortly.

Interesting article just posted below!

Puritans speak to business ethics?

Here is a fascinating essay on business ethics: the theme of the upcoming week.

Puritan Business Ethics by Virgil O.Smith Ph.D.

Abstract
The most radical change in business conditions probably came about in the mid 1500's. Prior to this time, commercial activities were largely conducted between neighbors. This changed with the advent of the market. These changes also brought about a concern that the traditional requirement of a personal biblical ethic in commerce no longer applied. Arguments were increasingly made that personal morality was unnecessary in the modern marketplace, since the system of the market would control people's actions and only allow results that were for the public good. This idea has continued to the present day, and as a result...

Bring wellness to others and be rewarded

This company is beyond my expectations.

I've been using Melaleuca products since 1997, but I was unaware of how amazing Melaleuca The Wellness Company really is.

Their products are very high quality, and well worth their very reasonable retail prices. But I had no idea about the wholesale membership opportunity, the profit sharing, and the revenue potential for partnering with this Fortune 500 Company with a 22 year track record of STELLAR GROWTH.

Recently, I met a woman who is a certified wellness coach, and owns her own Melaleuca business. She brought me to a Melaleuca company meeting where I met people from many different walks of life, from the CEO type businessmen and women to the stay-at-home moms, to financial advisors who are pretty excited about Melaleuca's company growth and profitability numbers (wow, you should ask me about this), to college students who are earning while in school.

To register for a one-hour training on this amazing opportunity and receive a free sample, please contact me.

wanted: database help for local women-in-jail ministry

My friend Karen is in need of help. MECjailministry.com/

She runs a local ministry that brings hope into local jails and prisons (correctional facilities) to people of all ages and walks of life.

The team I was a part of for about two years went into the Anoka County K-Pod, once a week, to bring Bible Studies to women in short-term corrections. It was an amazing and rewarding experience.

Karen needs help in the form of keeping up her database of volunteers, people who would like follow up, churches and other local resource contacts, calendar of events, etc.

The kind of person who could help Karen might be a stay-at-home mom with a high speed internet connection, or a high school or college student.

Please contact me right away if you are able to help.
